This is another great Mr Croc board book by Jo Lodge. You can buy this book in lots of places including Amazon where it costs £3.99. The book has 14 pages and includes pop-ups and flaps.

The Mr Croc books help your child learn in a fun way whether it's learning the weather or about different noises animals make etc... A few of the other books in the Mr Croc collection are: 'Splash Splosh', 'What Have You Got Mr Croc?', 'Zoom and fly Mr Croc', 'Moo Moo' and there's lots more.

The book that I'm going to review is called 'Up and down' on the front cover of the book there is a picture of Mr Croc and an elephant on a see saw. When you turn the page you see a picture of a big car and on the left page it says 'Mr Croc's car is BIG' The car picture is actually a flap and when you look it appears as if Mr Croc is sat in the car but when you turn the flap you see that Mr Croc is playing with a small car on a table and it says small (meaning there is a small car). Then throughout the book there is more examples of opposites like Mr Croc is happy then sad. The flaps in the books are good as they link the opposites together. The pages are very bright and the pictures are simple but make it clear what's happening in the book.

My daughters are big fans of Mr Croc books and they love this one. I think the book is good how it teaches your children about opposites and the book is a good way of explaining what opposites mean. After I had read them this book them they wanted more Mr Croc books to look at. I think the writing in the book is good as it is clear and easy to follow. I have even started trying to help my daughters to read using the book.
