In this book Darren and Larten Crepsley must make a journey to vampire mountain to speak to the general and vampire princes etc. found that in this book i was starting to get slightly annoyed with the main character Darren (i get annoyed with many main characters...especially Harry Potter). This series of books i feel are far better than the Harry Potter series, which i found to be repetative and too childish. I did enjoy this book. I find the series to be quiote addictive (i was much younger when i read them and found them to be quite scary). In my review of Darren Shan and the Vampire Mountain I will not contain any spoilers of the book but I may write a few hints in and I will write about the first book in the series as it is necessary for you to understand as to what is happening. For this reason I would suggest you not reading this review if you are going to read the first book and want everything which happens in Darren Shan: Cirque Du Freak to be a surprise I would recommend you not to read the rest of the review. Vampire Mountain is the fourth book in the Saga of Darren Shan series written from the point of view of the author Darren Shan. After becoming a half-vampire and leaving his family and friends behind in the first three books, this next installment follows him and Mr. Crepsley to the vampire headquarters.
