Veg Patch: River Cottage Handbook No.4 - Mark Diacono

If you already have some of books on growing vegetables, and you are looking for something original to read on a winter's night, dreaming of your super productive vegetable garden then "Veg Patch" by Mark Diacono is an excellent choice. This would also be an excellent book for beginners, but I would always recommend having a few different books as advice on growing vegetables is notoriously inconsistent between different gardeners, as any allotment holder who had chatted with the "old hands" will already know! 2009 was the year I decided to get serious about growing my own vegetables. It all started with a few free packets of seeds and a couple of pots on the windowsill.
