I have to admit that I have read most of Jackie Collins' books, mostly on holiday while sunbathing, but then that is no excuse. So much effort has gone into this book, and it is such a shame that all of the effort went into making it so cheesy, so unbelieveable and so very very bad. We all know that Jackie Collins name on a book means there will be lots of smut, and countless people jumping in and out of bed together, but by no means is her name associated with good writing. If you've already read Chances, Lucky and Lady Boss, you'll probably think that there's not much else left for Lucky to do - you're wrong! I have to admit that when I started reading this book, I thought there was no-way it could live up to the standard set by the previous three. Let's fact it, poor Lucky had been through so much in the first 3 books that I didn;t think was anything else left for the character. Just as you thought there were no more Bonatti's left to give her grieve, another creeps out of the woodwork, - Donna Landsman. The book starts off quite slowly.
