Jacqueline Wilson is without a doubt a phenomenal author. There's something amazing about her style that helps her emotional stories touch her readers. Her unique style certainly appeals to me, especially with one of her stories, Vicky Angel.

As I have said, Jacqueline Wilson's stories are very moving, and Vicky Angel has to be one of the most delicate stories I've read. In Vicky Angel, Vicky is killed in a car crash. Her best friend Jade is obviously devastated, and lost without her. Vicky, as an angel, appears for Jade only, and the two carry on as if nothing has happened. Though only Jade can see her. Though Vicky the angel has changed - she's not always as cheery as she was. She was like a different person. Will Jade find she can cope with her friend as an angel, or will it become too much?

This is quite a bizarre book. It's aimed at children, though I personally feel the story is quite delicate and perhaps too tough on young children. I feel it does make a good light read for those with a more mature emotion though.

This is a fantastic book, and if you do get the chance, it is certainly worth the read! If you're quite a softie like me, then it may even bring you to tears!
