Victorian Lace Today is a 196 page paperback book by Jane Sowerby, published in 2007 by XRX Books. It is available from Amazon for £15 (although you may get it cheaper by shopping around!). I bought this book because I have an interest in lace knitting and its roots. Not only does it provide patterns taken from a number of different authors (all of whom are named, including a short autobiography), but it also provides an insight to how the garments were made and worn.
