One of my childhood favourite authors is none other than terry Deary. He is famous for his book series known as Horrible Histories. In this collection there are some great reads, one of which is the Villainous Victorians. Cover: You should never judge a book by the cover, so they say, but I am terrible - I always do it! And I must say, the cover of this particular book is quite strange. There is a picture of a wealthy victorian man dressed smartly, alongside a scruffy little kid obvious of the lower class.
