The first of four novels, "Vision in White" is the story of four friends who have their own wedding planning business. This first book focuses on one particular member of the quartet, Mackensie (or Mac). Mac is the photographer of the group, after a short chapter on how the four came to be wedding planners after constantly playing the game of weddings as children and Mac picking up a camera for the first time, we delve right into the story of the four of them organising weddings and in particular, Macs role in the whole process. This is the first book in a brand new quartet from Nora Roberts. Each book will focus on one of four friends: MacKensie, Parker, Laurel and Emmeline, who all run a successful wedding business. Parker the leader manages the business and the wedding venue, her childhood home. MacKensie, the photographer; Laurel, the chef, and Emmeline, the florist make up the group. I was very excited to take a brand new copy of this book home from the library having had my name down for a good few weeks. But it didn't take many pages for me to realise that the book was a little disappointing to say the least. Vision in White is the first in Nora Roberts' new series, known collectively as The Bride Quartet, set around a wedding planning business which is run by four friends who spent much of their time in childhood playing at weddings.
