The Vision Dean Koontz 2007 edition, originally penned 1977. I have a bit of a love/hate thing going on with Koontz ever since I read some of his 'Odd' series, which I was not too enamoured with, however, after reading some of his older stuff I have grown quite fond of this thriller/come horror/come supernatural/come sci fi writer and have decided to keep reading....after all....if it works, do more of it. The Vision is one of Dean Koontz's earlier books, in the days when he was still calling himself Dean R Koontz. It has been a favourite of mine for many years, I first read it in the late eighties and have re-read many times subsequently. The book was fist published in 1977 by G P Putnam's Sons. The Plot: Mary Bergen is a clairvoyant, we join her in the opening pages as she guides the police to a house where she believes a killer is about to strike again. Her husband Max guides her gently through a series of visions as she sees through the killer's eyes and they finally find the house, the killer almost escapes and kills a police ...
