I originally bought this book for the pancake recipes, of which there is a wonderful variety, but the fabulous recipes seduced me into buying a waffle maker too (review to follow!). This is a small hardback book, which makes it much easier to use in the kitchen, as the pages stay open more readily than those of a paperback. It's about as tall as a standard paperback, but square. The author, Kate Haberson is food editor for Cosmopolitan magazine, and the fact she has worked as a food stylist really shows.
