This is a lovely light hearted story with a twist at the end. The cover of the book is fairly simple with a white background and a few simple drawings of a spider, lizard, snake, frog and shark. The word Wait! Is made up of different colours for each letter. The paper back edition was first published in 2006 and has 32 pages. Tom Williams is the author and illustrator of the book. He was born in St Albans in 1975. He attended Verulam School and at Bath University achieved a B.A. degree in graphics and illustration .
