I was a bit stuck for authors to try, so I asked my mum to recommend me something I would not normally read to try. She told me that she loves Donna Hay, an Irish author I had never heard of, so I set about getting hold of one of her books. I didn't know which of her novels came first, but I actually chose this one, which coincidentally was Hay's debut novel. It is called "Waiting In The Wings" and was a lovely read from start to finish. The story follows one woman, Annie Mitchell. Annie's husband has just walked out on her to live with her best friend, probably the ultimate betrayal and Annie isn't taking it too well.
