The other week I was in a charity shop looking at their selection of books. I spotted one with a cute dog on the front cover which was called "Along Came Dylan" I have to admit I didn't read the blurb on the back cover, the picture on the front was enough for me to buy it. So I got home and started to read, it was then that I realised that it was a sequel to another book and I'd probably be better off reading the first book before I began this one. Having never owned a dog before and not having any particular interest in them, this was an odd book to pick up. If I'm completely frank, I'd never heard of the author but the basic idea of it, was not one that I'd come across before. The man trying and sometimes failing to win the love of a tough dog. It's a true book about how he and his partner take in Ollie when they see him in a rescue centre. Already a difficult way to start a new life. It shows the ups and downs of what it could be like to rehome a dog with ...  Read the complete review
