I bought this book for £2.99 in Banana Bookshop for my husband as a little stocking filler at Christmas since he is into all things environmental and is always finding new ways of reusing things in our home. Apart from the price, what actually attracted me to the book was its presentation. Mine came as a hardback spiral bound book, with the slogan 'Over 200 ideas for recycling and reusing everyday things'. I picked this book up recently as part of my ongoing drive, not only to reduce costs, but also to waste as little as possible. The book costs £9.99 from book retailers but, I must admit, I paid just £1 for my copy, from a bookstall at my local market. The format of the book is great because it is spiral-bound so you can lay the pages flat. It is made from very good quality paper but there is no information to tell you whether or not it has been made using recycled materials which, for such a book, I would have thought was essential. **** Waste Not Want Not**** This book caught my eye in Borders one day -i decided to buy it as i feel i have too much waste and i wanted to find ways to reduce it. The book is divided into sections and these are as follows 1.Why waste not want not-this is the only "paper section" of the book and tells you why you shouldn't waste stuff. 2.Paper and card.This has ideas on what to do leftover paper and card.It gives you tips such as cutting the front of a birthday or christmas card and use it to make gift tags.I liked the bit on how to make place mats-means you could make different ones for different ...
