This is a book about how fans become obsessional about their local football team, its really a look at the 'normal' fan if you can use that term, that is a fan of a team which plays at a reasonable level but rarely threatens the upper echelons of English football. The Author Adrian Chiles is the BBC presenter who fronts The One Show with Christina Berkely during the week and presents MOTD 2 on Sunday night. Previously he presented the Money programme on BBC2 at lunchtimes, he did that for many years. He's got a nice sense of humour and a regional accent which you don't often find on the Beeb.
