What a Mess and Little Poppet is another book which has been based on the old television series by Frank Muir. My husband has lead me to believe it is from the early 70's but I don't actually remember it as I am way too young! The book is a small hardback edition and the cover is white with a picture of what a mess sitting down with his arms folded and a little yellow dog making a mess around him. The title is above the picture in red and pink letters. The back cover of the book has a photo of Frank Muir and a small paragraph telling us a bit about him.
