I have to admit that I had never heard of What a Mess until my hubby mentioned him as he found some books on EBay and he told me it was an old television show he watched when he was little. The show is about an Afghan puppy who has different adventures and the series was written and narrated by Frank Muir. I think it was the early 70's when this was on the TV. The book is a small hardback book and the cover is white with a small picture of what a Mess walking across the road in front of a red bus and the title above this in red and blue bubble lettering.
