However, I couldn't help but disagree that this book comes from a Christian perspective. While I don't disagree with the ideology behind these teachings, they come from a more modern, humanist background, and trying to claim them as Christian teachings seems poorly related. I was really intrigued by the premise of this book. No more bible study, no need to look for clarity anymore, this book offers to show you exactly what God wants, in clear language. The format is simple; very short chapters each making a specific point. Some longer chapters cover many issues, but are clearly divided by subheadings, so you can dip in and out of the relevant sections as required. The writing is designed to be inspiring, and to bring hope to people that God loves them even if they think they are failing. The overall concept is compelling. Mr. Chopra's writing seems made only to impress the layman and not to offer any substantial arguments. The use of circular logic and assumptive reasoning hurt his arguments.
