Marshall Goldsmith is one of the business world's top five coaches of CEOs and future CEOs according to Forbes, while The Times, only slightly less impressed, named him one of the top fifty most influential management thinkers alive. He has written more than twenty books, worked with more than eighty business leaders. He's clearly doing something right. I'd not heard of him before but then I'm not a CEO (yet), and I also don't tend to read a lot of the industry press.
