This book came out a while ago. I remember I was so excited about getting my hands on a copy. I love the TV series so was looking forward to seeing it. It was as good as I thought it would be. It is an easy read, very informative book with lots of pictures of clothes, shoes and handbags... just right up my street. All the pictures in the book are photo shots of Trinny and Susannah. They show you what Not to wear and why. (to be honost most of it was pretty obvious) but I suppose if you didn't see it then you maybe wouldn't know. The original and the best! If you can get over their annoying breast grabbing and general enthusiasm for groping women in their underwear (proof, if you need it, that boarding school is not a good idea) Trinny and Susannah do actually know what they're talking about. This book capitalised on their success when their popularity was at its height in 2002. It's categorised by problem areas; Big tits, no tits, big arms, big bum, no waist, short legs, flabby tummy, saddlebags, short neck, thick ankles and calves. The first book from the brutally frank twosome, who themselves have been criticised for not knowing 'what not to wear' but that's beside the point. The book is split into sections of different issues that people may have with their bodies, including small breasts, big breasts and fat necks. Each section begins with a close up of the bodily problem and then dedicates a page to what not and what to wear to cover the problem, with advice at the bottom of each page explaining why certain items are right and others are wrong.
