What Pet to Get? - Emma Dodd

I was drawn to this book because I liked the look of the Polar bear on the front. He looked like a big friendly guy and I was intrigued to see what the story was all about. This book is written by Emma Dodd and was first published in 2006. The books tells the story of Jack and his journey of choosing a pet. He comes up with all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas on which pet he would like but somehow his mother convinces him otherwise without actually saying 'No'. He eventually has a revelation that a dog would be the best thing to purchase and the book ends on a picture of him with his brand new pet.
