Goosebumps: Be Careful What You Wish For - R L Stine

Premium Review A few Goosebumps (368 words)
by blackviolets - written on 23/05/09 (Very useful, 22 readings)
Rating:

I was a massive lover of the Goosebumps stories by R L Stein when I was younger. Sadly as I grew into my teens I think I was obliged to put my collection into the church fair boxes. However! A few of them managed to escape. One of them being Be Careful What you Wish For. It was with great pleasure when I came across it a week or so back and I enjoyed it then as much as what I did when I first read it all those years ago. Be Careful What You Wish For is the story of Samantha Byrd. A tall, lanky girl who is constantly being taunted by Judith, a reasonably popular girl who makes Samantha's life miserable during school and when they are on the girls' basketball team. In fact ...

Premium Review IT's COMING FOR YOU (1095 words)
by Jonni_boi - written on 04/11/08 (Very useful, 211 readings)
Rating:

the books I do not currently have in the normal "Goosebumps". Now for anyone who has never read any Goosebumps, that are a series of books created by R.L. Stine, who in my opinion, is one of the best-selling scary children s author of all time. At a very young age, I used to hate reading the Goosebumps books. I wouldn t say I hated reading them as such, more like love to hate the books. However these books in the series Goosebumps 2000 they are much scarier and I personally can see the difference... This book is a girl called Alison, who accidentally runs over Rip, the cat, with a bike. She could have sworn that she saw the head fly off the cat. But when she ...

Goosebumps: The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb - R. L. Stine

Premium Review The Mummy's Curse (732 words)
by Jonni_boi - written on 19/10/08 (Very useful, 201 readings)
Rating:

As you may, or may not have noticed, my review have been somewhat different to the others, the reason being is that I have been to see my English teacher and she had said that many of my reviews had been in 1st person and that I should be writing them in 3rd person as it makes reviews much more better. But in my opinion it has quite made them worse and that those reviews have reached a somewhat lower than expected rating. So today I shall write in 1st person as I usually do and see if my rates are higher or lower than the ones before and then see which is better for me to write in 1st or 3rd. The reason I bought this book is because I am reading all the Goosebumps books in order. ...
