Put your hand up if you've ever heard of James Grippando. No, me neither. According to the little author bit at the front of the book (or in this case on the inside back cover) Mr. Grippando worked for twelve years as a trial lawyer and has written over ten novels - many of them featuring his recurring lawyer Jack Swyteck.  So, if his publishers were willing to keep paying him, the least I could do was give one of his books a go.
