About the Author: Judith Kerr is probably most famous for her children's book 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' and the Mog the cat picture books which she has also illustrated. 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' is the first book in Kerr's autobiographical trilogy, known collectively as 'Out of the Hitler Time'. The following two stories in the collection are 'Bombs on Aunt Dainty' and 'A Small Person Far Away'. Although Kerr's illustrated books are aimed at younger children, this trilogy is better suited to slightly older children.
