When She Was Bad was published in 2007, and is written by Jonathan Nawsaw. Apparently this book is actually part of a series (I think it's No.4) but I didn't even realise right until the end which is when I went online to find out a bit more about it. Therefore it is readable and easy to understand without reading the first 3 books (although I am quite keen to read the others after reading this one - which I suppose tells you that I liked it!) The book focuses on two main characters - Lily and Lyssy. Both in their early twenties, and both suffering from a dissociative identity disorder.
