When the Window Blows is by the writer James Patterson. The follows Frannie O'Neill who is a veterinarian. Her husband was killed a few years before we met her in the story. Her practice is based in Bear Bluff, Colorado and this is where the story begins. Frannie meets an FBI Agent called Kit Harrison when he rents out her cabin in the woods behind her house. Kit is meant to be on holiday after a horrible tragedy killed his wife and children. After a friend of Frannie's mysteriously dies, she is driving home when she sees something in the forest.
