This book by Hans Magnus Enzensberger (ISBN 0 241 14071 4)was first written in his native German and has been recently translated into English. Don't let this put you off because it's a really interesting read. If as a child, you enjoyed books like Tom's Midnight Garden and The Never Ending Story, you will enjoy this. The main character in this book is a 14 year old boy called Robert, a bit of a loner, who has trouble with his eyes. One day while watching T.V. he suddenly finds himself a part of the scene that he was watching.
