Following from the success with Faces, a black and white cloth book we read with my granddaughter from seven weeks, I decided to buy her another black and white book to further aid her introduction to books. White On Black by Tana Hoban is the book I finally decided on after much research and I also bought its sister book, Black On White. White On Black is simplicity itself. A twelve page board book which has solid white child-like images on top of a black background.
