 ... £6.99. My son was 6months old when I started reading to him old despite the book stating not recommended to under three year olds due to small parts. I do not understand the age criteria this book .My son has ripped away the top section on one page as he has been able get his finger in the hole where the sparkles are. The story is what happened to an Ant and ladybird that was stood on a leaf having a chat but a rain drop landed on it and the leaf broke off. It tells the tale of what happened on their fall. Children learning to love books at an early age is essential and I would say more than ever before they get drawn into the world of computer games. My son does have a very short attention span. This was one thing that was picked up in a report by the nursery. As he is only two years old I am not concerned but do think reading books is a great way to encourage concentration.
