---The Characters---
The same characters as What If? another Shari Low book I have reviewed.

*Jess- the main character, the lover of Basil Asquith MP (her boss)

Her friends:
*Carly
*Cal
*Sarah
*Carol
*Kate

*Basil - the married MP.

*Mike - Jess' husband (after Basil)



---The plot---
Jess is having an affair with her married boss, MP Basil Asquith. She decides she needs to be more than just a lover and gives Basil an ultimatum, leave your wife or lose me.
He has endless excuses why he can't, (he doesn't love his wife but what about the children?? 33 and 31 yrs old, think they'll be ok Basil...)

Anyway she finds out what a liar he is when she catches him in bed with his wife, (the woman he apparently is only married to in name)

She then meets a journalist, Mike and he gets the story of a lifetime as she blurts out everything that went on with Basil.

Fast fwd a few months... and Jess and Mike are married?! Having a baby too...

Miranda, Basils wife wants revenge on Basil so teams up with Jess (an unlikely twosome yes, wife and ex-lover)

---My opinions---

Not a great book, I was disappointed as I loved her previous novel 'What If?' and knew many of the characters were the same.

The characters are still as great and individual and I liked the fact I knew the characters from the previous novel 'What If?'.

I know some people will think my review of the plot doesn't make much sense but this is exactly how it happens in the book! (It really doesn't make sense) lol. Quite mixed up.

The story just has too many turns and unrealistic pairings etc.

Not the best Shari Low book by far, sorry Shari!!

Summary: not the best from Shari Low, read 'What If?'!!
