I am always looking out for new authors to try so when a customer was telling me how great these books were i decided to give them a try.
**About the author**
Cate Tiernan is a us author who mainly writes books for young adults.
**Plot**
Things change for ever when Cal Blaire joins the senior class of Windows vale high. Morgan and her best friend Bree are introduced to witch craft when he invites then to join his new coven. Things might have gone okay if Morgan hadn't fallen for Cal. Bree cant stand it as she normally gets all the attention,why does Cal like Morgan and not her? Then things start happening to Morgan that she doesn't understand-she starts being able to do things that other people cant
**Main characters**
Morgan-plain,ordinary-the type of person that you wouldn't expect anything extraordinary to happen to. A very likeable character you want things to work out for her.
Cal-So he appears out of nowhere,starts a coven and seems extremely interested in Morgan. Is he really that into Morgan or is there another reason? I don't trust him!!
The book may be about magic but more importantly it is about a girl discovering who she really is -there are some big surprises along the way!!!
At 187 pages this isn't a very long book and i found it easy to read in the one go. All though aimed at teenagers i think older people will like it aswell.

This is the first in a series of 15 books.It can be bought as a 2 in 1 book (with the 2nd one) for 6.99.!!!

- 22/02/09 i think they were called sweep all the time in america,as even the first one my friend got had it(she got american version)i dont think they did that well here-the first 4 are in 2 books,and they are bringing out 5/6 this year but apart from that they are quite hard to get (new anyway) |
