Swim with seals and seaweed at midnight with the moon! This is the ethos of this book which is all about seeking out wild and remote, or simply natural and close by places to jump in and enjoy the freedom of that swim when no one is going to charge you or issue you with a locker key! Swimming like this- impromptu and impetuous used to be common, but with so many leisure centres now it has become much less common to seek out places to enjoy a spur of the moment plunge.
