How excellent is the LOGAN - A trilogy book? It's brilliant, it's well written, packed with ideas and full of symbolism and enduring characters. It's a very dark sci-fi trilogy and lots of terrible things happen to Logan and ancillary characters. One scene from the Logan's World that has stayed with me is a room of dead babies. If you are unfamiliar with Logan and the MGM movie Logan's Run - boiling it down it becomes highly comparable to Brave New World by Aldous Huxley - both with dystopia and well paced rising bile at the realization of living in a dystopia that was a utopia on the inside view.
