Advantages: nice keepsake book
Disadvantages: none
I bought this keepsake book when I was expecting my daughter. It is a lovely Winnie the Pooh book which is split into sections such as waiting for baby, babys birth, naming baby, babys progress. In the "waiting for baby" section you can put your scan photos in and your choice of names for boy and girl. I have also put her identity tags that she wore in hospital, as you forget how small their wrists and ankles were at birth. There is also a section for their first teeth, and to record their weight and height every month until they are a year old. One of my favourite sections is the "special memories" as I have written down her funny ways. It is quite hard to keep it up to date, as you have to enter the event soon after it happens, otherwise you will forget. For instance last week she started to walk unaided, so that has been put in the book. It is nice to look back at the photographs, and like someone else said, it will be great for her to look at when she is a bit older.

- 18/04/01 You could try to remember some of the things now!
Or have another baby and fill them in next time...tho you might have problems then. My Mum filled in a book for me and not my younger sister.I loved looking at mine when I was younger and my siuster always asked why she didnt have one. I think Mum just dint have time. I asked her recently if I could look at mine so I could compare it with my Sons but she cant find it :( |
