Let me just say. The wizards first Rule is elementary.

With amazing characters that are both believable and awesome, this book explodes the fantasy genre.
If you have watched the TV series, then don't let it deter you from one of the greatest fantasy books of all time. I bought the books one at a time, (each book costing £8.00) this should show you haw great the series is.

The characters are both well defined and believable. The first wizard zed is both funny and parant-ee, as should all old people be.

The confessor power is well thought out and equally well put into action.

The story is both captivating and well thought out. The bonding between characters is extremely realistic and Terry Goodkind should in my opinion be given an Oscar for this wonderful portrayal of good verses bad.

My praises to Terry Goodkind for a wonderful fantasy story in a genre that has recently died out
