I am very lucky to have a toddler that loves books. She has just turned two years old and is learning her colours. A couple of months ago, the only colour she would say was yellow. I always found this quite funny as the word yellow is quite a difficult one for little ones to grasp. Thinking back to when my older daughter was small it was the other way around and she would say every colour but yellow. The frustrations that my partner and mother in law encountered whilst trying to get her to say a colour other than yellow was quite amusing to watch.
