'Woody Allen: A Biography' was first published in 1998 and written by John Baxter, whose previous books include biographies of various cinematic greats such as Stanley Kubrick and Fellini. It won't come as a huge suprise to know that Woody Allen had nothing to do with this book which can be aptly described as 'Un - sycophantic'. The front cover features the top half of Allen's head as if he is peering over a wall. Yes, we get it, Woody Allen isn't very tall.
