I have had this book for well over a year now, and when I first got it, I loved it! I read it cover to cover in one sitting, made a few of the projects and even made a couple of things off the cuff just using the technical information. But then I lost my confidence, I bought a couple of other books and they made it seem so daunting, so much technical information to master, and so much worry over getting a good finish. I have a box of fabric under my bed that I'm too scared to use because, well what if I mess up? It would be such a waste of lovely fabric! I bought this book the other day as I would like to start sewing and making my own things but I need some inspiration. I haven't done a lot of sewing so I wanted something that was fairly basic and wouldn't put me off. I saw this book on Amazon and the reviews were pretty good and it was only £6 so I thought I'd give it a go. The book is very quirky with a very interesting stylish, quirky design. Things are higgle-de-piggle-de on the pages and images over lap text to make it really interesting to look at and creative.
