This is a great book for anyone just starting out on their journey into employment after leaving university. The book is written from the perspective of people going to work for a business, but it can be tweaked as you read it to make it useful in almost any career. I work in the public sector and almost everything is relevant. Michael Ball has written a book which works it's way through the 100 big lies relating to starting off in employment after leaving university, and each chapter is roughly 2-3 pages relating to a specific lie such as 'you're too smart for this', 'you're degree prepared you for work' and 'your boss loves surprises'.
