She tries to put the dream out of her head, when the phone rings; it's the love of her life Michael, chatting with him puts everything into perspective, and the music stops playing in her head. Happier now, she sets off to work before she's late. Walking to work, she turns a corner and screams; she has walked into the identical scene from her dream.......... Kristin Burns is on her way to work, when she turns the corner and finds paramedics and police outside a hotel. As an amateur photographer hoping to make the big time Kristin is always armed with her camera and she begins to shoot the action. More recent publications from the pen of legendary author James Patterson have seen a string of one-off books, stand alone stories that have no follow on sequels and are not part of a series. Usually, he writes another Alex Cross novel, or one featuring the Women's Murder Club, or starring Maximum Ride. You've Been Warned is another one-off book from the celebrated author, and yet again, features the unlikely heroine scenario, as photographer Kristin Burns, employed by a wealthy family, starts an affair with the husband and soon starts to see warning signs in the form of eerie dreams and visions of those she believes dead. Instead of backing down, ...  Read the complete review
