This product produces first-rate prints & combines well with other colours of the same brand

For my Canon Pixma printer I use CLI 8M ~ magenta amongst other coloured ink cartridges.
I feel that Canon has earned its title of producing high quality products & supplies.
For me, they are the forerunners in quality & design. Whatever equipment I purchase, I buy the same brand in supplies.

Specifications as indicated on the leaflet enclosed with the packaging:

Product Description Canon CLI 8M - ink tank
      Consumable Type Ink tank
      Printing Technology Inkjet
      Printing Colour Magenta
      Duty Cycle
Up to 420 pages at 5% coverage.

      ~*~ Experience in usage ~*~

I obtained a much lower amount of coverage as i used the colour on full strength. As an example; when i was required to print molecular structures for my chemistry homework and exams, i had to use vibrant colours to show the molecules/atoms. In one instance, to design the side by side two column DNA molecules, i incorporated the magenta to represent the chains of amino acid strings.

The Magenta ink cartridge is resistant to smudges. As in the case of the Canon black & yellow ink cartridges, the pigmented particles of the cartridge's ink settle into the jute of the paper and cleaves as the ink dries. Hence, my printing is more resistant to fading and last well. The effect of the design process in combining components for the ink gives a resonant fluid finish.

This product is guaranteed to work with Canon Pixma printers.

The product is very simple to insert into the printer. I simply removed the chip on the cartridge, ensuring that i fitted it to the corresponding colour cartridge allotted space. It is important though that only the Canon brand is used to ensure the warranty is not void should a mishap occur. Addfitionally, i neede to regularly monitor the ink level of my new cartridges because if it runs completely dry, it can cause damage to the intricate mechanism.

This colour cartridge can be purchased at Currys for £12.99. Also available at various sites on-line.
I find this CLI 8M ink cartridge gives me outstanding finish for my printing needs.
Canon covers this product by a full 12 month warranty.
