	Canon PG 50 ... cartridge is often referred to as being High Yield ; this is because it has double the ink compared to the standard pg40 cartridge. It is certainly better value than the pg40, but with my printer this cartidge still produces good prints right up to when it is completely empty, and the last page is left blank in places. On my printer it doesn t distinguish between the pg40 and pg50 but the pg50 works as well as the supplied pg40. My printer seems to underestimate the capacity of the pg50, showing a low ink warning long before I run out of ink. On several occasions I have bought a new cartidge and not used it for about a month, but have found that neither the quality... 	Canon BCI 24C ... have owned the Canon MP110 for a few years which I have also reviewed and this is the ink I have used with it. To be honest if you buy original ink cartridges its going to cost a lot in the long run. This is how printer companies generate money, they would usually lose money selling the printer but since they produce ink which is incredibly cheap for them but instead of passing on savings they increase the price to regain their losses and this ink cartridge is no different. An original cartridge comes with 17ml of ink altogether of yellow, cyan and magenta. 	Canon BCI 24C ... a Canon S300 printer, this is the colour cartridge that I need for it. To be honest, I don t think it s good value for money because you ve got 3 colours in 1 cartridge (which means that if 1 runs out, you have to replace the whole thing: all printers from all manufacturers that use a Black + Colour cartridge setup also suffer from this). I ve since switched over to compatible brands, which give just as good quality for a lower price. To be fair to Canon, their ink is better, especially if printing photos, and lasts just as long as the compatible cartridges, but they are more expensive overall, although prices do seem to be coming down.
