      fun times

      I wanted to label the cables behind the television so that I knew quickly, which plug I could pull out without having to trace the wires back to the devices they controlled. I use my Dymo regularly and find it helps me keep things in place and adds a little order to a mad life! I first came across Dymo at work as it makes a good tool to label the stationary cupboard for example. I bought the wrong tape at first and ended up with polyester labels, these are nylon and are much more suited to labelling cables.

      ==Price and availability==

      A roll of this costs £16.99 and this is for 5m of tape that is 19mm wide. The tape can be bought from Staples, W H Smith and stores that specialise in printing/office supplies.

      ==Description==

      This is a good strong tape but it is very flexible. The tape is 19 mm wide and it is white. The thermal printed lettering prints on here in black. The labels are good quality and the text prints in a very readable fashion. The labels have an adhesive back and whereas usual tape labels can be peeled off and reused, this is a more permanent solution. This is good as it means that the tape does not peel up at the ends. The nylon makes the label perfect for wrapping around a round surface. The labels do not bubble and once smoothed out, they stick really well as they are very flexible.

      ==My experiences==

      Oh these are good, you can lay them length way along the wire and smooth down making it really easy to read the label. The labels are really good quality and they are so easy to apply. The good news about them is that once on, they stay on. The labels are expensive and are more expensive that regular ones but there is no way you can use them for that purpose. I find the labels to be thick yet really flexible, they grip to the wire easily and once on, stay in place. The adhesive back is much stronger than regular labels and it means that you will find it much easier to apply them to a circular item like a wire or cable.

      ==Overall==

      These are ace, really good quality and thick. I like to use my Dymo for all sorts of things but I would get really frustrated trying to put regular labels on my the cables. This is why you need a specific label type. I think these are expensive but they are very high quality and they have really strong adhesive so you don't have to keep replacing them when they peel off because once on, they stay on!
