Disadvantages: a bit expensive when outght as a multi pack

We just recently bought a new Epson stylus DX7400 printer as our old one stopped printing for some reason. Our new printer takes the T series Epson ink. To make everything a bit easier we just bought a T0715 multi pack ink package which comes with four ink cartridges. The T0715 can also be used with other Epson stylus models including the DX4450, DX4000, DX9400F, DX4050 etc.
The Epson T0715 will come with four colour ink cartridges. This includes the T0711 which is the black ink, T0712 which is the cyan colour, T0713 which is the magenta colour and T0714 which is the yellow colour.

The Epson T0715 multi pack is rather expensive as we bought it for £29.99 in PC world, I guess its not that expensive if you divide that by four, as it will work out to be around £7.50 per cartridge, which I think is not too bad considering the quality of these cartridges but I have seen the individual cartridges being sold for less.
The inks will come packaged in a thick plastic container which is rather hard to open by hand, therefore you have to use something sharp like a scissors to open. Using a scissors actually makes it easy to open the container.
The cartridges are vacuum packed, suggesting that the air in each plastic package for each individual cartridge is sucked up to help maintain the quality of the cartridge. To open the individual package you will also need a scissors are the plastic is rather thick. The cartridges are very light and thin and are made of plastic. Each cartridge is colour coded, which I find helpful in reminding me which cartridge is which (results in less confusion).

Fitting the ink into the printer is rather easy all you have to do is remove the yellow portion of the tape and insert the cartridge. Before you insert the cartridge, it always beneficial to shake the cartridge a couple of times before you insert it into the printer.
I must say that the ink prints really well without any smudges and does not fade quickly it also has water resistance, this may be because the ink is DuraBrite ultra ink which is the new technology in the world of ink. The water resistance feature makes these inks good for pictures. I have actually print a picture using the cartridges, and the picture quality looked great and all the colours came out nicely, even though the printer was quick in printing the pictures.

I would recommend this multi package because they are of good quality and the ink is DuraBrite ultra ink which improves the quality of printing and I must say if you see it cheaper than £30 buy as many as you can because that will be a bargain. The ink does last long, we bought ours about two months ago and we have not changed any of the cartridges yet. I guess it all depends how much you print, but these cartridges do last a long time comparing to my other printer cartridges which we've owned in the past years.
The ink cartridges comes with a manual with more than ten languages. The manual is rather helpful as it tells you the does and don'ts, these could be handy if you are a first time user.

---If any of the ink cartridges run out you can always buy them individually.

---You can also buy this Epson Stylus T0715 from other electrical shops that sells printers such as Comet, Currys, Tesco, Argos etc (the price may vary so its always good to do some research before you buy if you want to save some pennies).

---You shouldn't touch the green part of the cartridge as it will affect the cartridge's quality.

---The black ink is 7.4ml which is more than the other cartridges as they are 5.5ml. This is because the black ink is more likely to be used a lot.
