Advantages: Black ink for real

Disadvantages: Expensive ink

I have had a printer that uses this type of ink for a few months now and to be honest these are a complete rip off considering the price. I have used these cartridges and compared them with much cheaper compatible cartridges which also come with around three times as much ink for less than a pound each and the quality has been exactly the same. Just to show the extent of what you are paying, an original cartridge costs £6.50 from Tesco which contains 6.5ml of ink and is said to produce 235 pages at a 5% coverage which is practically nothing. A compatible cartridge costs £0.80 from ebay and contains 19ml of ink which produces 705 pages. Basically if you buy an original cartridge every month then you could save£5.80 per month and then multiply that by three to compensate for the ink which comes to £17.40. Over a year the saving itself is going to be what the average epson printer costs. Although these inks are expensive they are at least decent quality if you do insist on buying original inks. Also if you want to save money on originals there are T0715 pack which costs £29.99 which contains four inks which is less than the R.R.P. Overall decent ink at a very expensive price per ml.

Summary: Compatibles would be better
