Great Ink - Shame it doesn't last longer! (Epson T0713)

Advantages: Reasonable compared to other inks, great quality print outs

Disadvantages: Seems to run out incredibly quickly for me.

I use this cartridge in conjunction with the similar black, cyan and yellow cartridges in my Epson DX7450 all in one printer, and I have to say that I have had no issues with the ink, aside from the fact that it seems to get used up very quickly - a common issue with printer inks!
The ink is sold as Epson's DURABrite ink, and so has the following technical specifications and is quite a complicated and good quality ink!

- Water Resistant
- Light Resistant
- Extra Sharp Text (pigments are not fully absorbed into the paper like with other inks).
- Double Sided Printing with no bleed-through
- Brighter Colours on Plain Paper (In comparison to your average ink I guess?).

There is a lot of variation in the price of this cartridge. The best places to buy it are Amazon, Tesco and Asda, as all of these places retail it for between £6 and £7. Other retailers like Staples and PC World can charge £10-£15!

One thing I would say is do not use cheaper alternatives, there are plenty of cheap copies of this cartride on the market, especially if you're using eBay. These simply block up the printer, and colour images are left with an overtone of different shades, usually a magenta sheen over black areas.

Summary: A good ink, make sure you buy genuine Epson ink and not cheap fakes.
