Advantages: Produces great quality prints all the time; cost-efficient

Disadvantages: none

I have been using the HP 56 Black Cartridge, otherwise known as C6656 since I bought an HP PSC 1210 all-in-one printer 3 years ago. Based on my experience with this cartridge, I can say that I am a happy camper. Since I have a home office, I regularly use my printer for regular document printing jobs and some photocopying too. That would range from 7 - 10 pages everyday from Monday to Friday. Most of the documents I print are excel spread sheets and word documents so I can say that the black cartridge is the one that I use a lot. Usually, it takes me about 6 months before I consume the black cartridge. It's been 3 years since I purchased my printer and I am only on my sixth HP 56 black cartridge. I always make it a point to order the cartridge online since it is much cheaper and sometimes they sell it in twin packs. The packaging says one cartridge can produce up to 450 pages. I dont know if that's accurate but I definitely get a lot more than just 450 pages. I have not used any refills or after market compatible cartridges, so I cannot compare thier performance with the HP 56. They say the compatible cartridges may damage your printer so I never tried one. I will definitely continue to use the HP 56 as long as my printer is working. I strongly recommend this print cartridge to those who own and use the same or compatible printers. It gives you high quality prints all the time and is definitely worth your money.

Summary: It gives you high quality prints all the time and is definitely worth your money.
