Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Terrible Print Quality
I am just about ready to put two nearly full packets of this photo paper on the freecycle website and let some other poor fool try their luck with it.
It cost me a fortune even when it was on offer, 2 packs of 100 sheets for £11.94 (buy one get one free). By comparison this is on the HP site at £9.20 a packet now so obviously prices must vary quite a lot from store to store.
I have not had one single decent photographic print on this paper. I have tried every possible setting on my HP printer in all kinds of combinations but even though this has an effect on the print quality, it's never good enough. Some prints are blurred and smudged while others are visible but obviously poor quality.
The paper just does not seem capable of absorbing the ink probably. This is despite me always making sure I select the right printer settings before use (and I've tried all sorts of combinations to try anyway).
For the price I paid I'm absolutely disgusted with this rubbish paper. I've used all kinds of photo papers over the years and never before found one that I can't get a single decent print out of. I'd suggest people avoid this like the plague.
For reference, I get better quality pictures on plain paper than I do on this expensive photo paper.

- 19/12/08 Why don't you complain to HP before Freecycling the paper? |

- 19/12/08 Haven't tried this stuff - sounds naff. The HP 'Advanced', 'Premium', and 'Premium Plus' photo paper is very good :) |
