Advantages: Great image quality, Fade resistant.

Disadvantages: Quite expensive, Hard to get tabs off easily.

I went to buy some 6x4 photo paper so I could print my own photographs. I chose the HP Premium Plus Photo Paper after having a trial of the paper. It states on the box that it is the number 1 selling brand. It also states that the photos resist fading for over 100 years when using HP Vivera inks.

I bought the paper from WHSmith for £9.99. It had been reduced from around £15.

There are 100 sheets in the box which measure 10x15cm plus the tab. There is a tab on each sheet of paper so you can pick the photograph up easily without smudging it. The tab is perforated so you can tear it off but it doesn't always come off cleanly so I think that in the future I will buy the paper without tabs.

This brand of paper is given 5 stars out of 5 which means it is HP best paper. The weight of each sheet is 280g/m2. The image quality is given 5/5, Fade resistance is given 5/5 when using select HP ink. It does seem to take a while for the ink to dry and is given 2/5.

I am very pleased with the quality of the images I am printing.
