I was looking for a high quality photo paper so that I could print off a photo and frame it for a personal Christmas present this year. In the past I have used Tescos and Boots own brand and also some paper that I got free with my Canon printer but I always found that something was not quite right with the printing quality.

I haven't got an expensive printer so I don't expect to get lab quality prints but choosing the right paper does go a long way to getting the best quality print.

This paper was not cheap, I paid £13.99 for a pack of 20 A4 sheets where the other own brand papers where half the price, but I wanted to see if you really do get what you pay for and I was glad I chose this paper.

It has a really high gloss to it and the paper is one sided so you can't make a mistake and print on the wrong side as it is obvious which side to print on. My photos really looked glossy and professional and I didn't have to wait for it to dry either as it was dry as soon as it left the printer.

Even though this paper was more expensive, it is definitely worth it as there is no point printing off photos on cheap paper and not being pleased with the result. Photos should last a lifetime and I will be using Kodak Ultra Premium Photo Paper from now on for all my prints, not just for presents.
